01

The problem

Every Monday, someone on a marketing team loses an hour to the same job: open each social platform, copy the numbers into a sheet, compare with last week, write a summary, post it in Slack. I built an AI agent that does this instead, for a marketing team I worked with.

02

What it does every Monday at 9:00

  1. Pulls last week's data from Instagram, LinkedIn and X
  2. Compares it with the week before
  3. Spots the biggest changes
  4. Writes a 30-second summary in plain language
  5. Builds the visual report
  6. Posts it to the team's Slack channel

Design decision: read-only

The agent only reads data, it never posts. That boundary is what made the team comfortable connecting it to live accounts.

“The weekly report is not where the insight is. The follow-up question is.”

04

What I learned

The weekly report is not where the insight is. The follow-up question is ("why did LinkedIn drop?"), so the report is designed to start that conversation, not replace it.
